dc.descriptionThis research was carried out in order to identify the incidence of domestic violence in the low academic performance of elementary school students, violence being one of the most significant and worrying problems in the region. Through a research with a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative), descriptive, exploratory, deductive, with a transversal design, where observation and survey were used as data collection methods, applied to teachers, authorities, students and students. parents of the José Isaac Montes educational unit, located in the city of Quevedo, Ecuador. Through an exhaustive bibliographic review and data collection, it was possible to establish a sustainable idea of the magnitude of the problem and its impact on students and the educational community in general, showing that the problems of domestic violence, poor communication and interest of parents to the academic and personal development of their children has a direct impact on their scope within their work in the institution, who receive validate the hypothesis raised: Intrafamily conflicts have a significant impact on the academic performance of students of the basic level of the José Isaac Montes Educational Unit.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se realizó con el fin de identificar la incidencia de la violencia intrafamiliar en el bajo rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del nivel básico, siendo la violencia uno de los problemas más significativos y preocupantes de la región. Por medio de una investigación de enfoque mixto (cualitativo y cuantitativo), de tipo descriptiva, exploratoria, deductiva, con diseño trasversal, donde se utilizaron como métodos de recolección de datos la observación y la encuesta, aplicados en los docentes, autoridades, estudiantes y padres de familia de en la unidad educativa José Isaac Montes, ubicada en las cuidad de Quevedo, Ecuador. Por medio de una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica y la recolección de datos, se pudo establecer una idea sustentable de la magnitud del problema y su repercusión sobre los estudiantes y la comunidad educativa en general, evidenciando que los problemas de violencia intrafamiliar, la poca comunicación e interés de los padres de familia al desarrollo académico y personal de sus hijos repercute directamente sobre sus alcances dentro de sus labores en la institución, los que permitió validar la hipótesis planteada: Los conflictos intrafamiliares inciden significativamente sobre el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del nivel básica de la Unidad Educativa José Isaac Montes.es_ES
