Tuberculosis is an infectious disease, highly contagious, whose main cause is mycobacterium tuberculosis, which affects the lung parenchyma. This disease attacks middle-aged adults with greater relevance. Although all people are prone to contracting tuberculosis, there are high-risk groups, such as convicts, people in overcrowding, undocumented migrants. The persistent expectorant cough of more than fifteen days of evolution without improvement, and other nonspecific symptoms such as weight loss, night sweats, fever, are alarm symptoms that the patient is with tuberculosis. To diagnose tuberculosis, we performed a tuberculin study, in addition to a chest X-ray. For the treatment of tuberculosis, drugs are used that are divided into two groups: first-line drugs, for the initial treatment, and second-line drugs, these are more active and with greater side effects.es_ES
