The present case is a 34-week-gestation male patient with neonatal sepsis and low weight. These causes are due to the mother having infections and heavy vaginal discharge during pregnancy. The newborn had medical hospitalization for 11 days due to the fact that at the time of birth he presented shortness of breath, which is why he received respiratory support for 4 days and 24 hours later with a nasal cannula, he presented a jaundiced picture for which he required the use of phototherapy for 4 days. I have no abnormal movements. She remained in NPO plus open SOG for 2 days afterwards, satisfactory enteral stimulation tolerating 35 CC every 3 hours, which is why there were no changes in the abdominal circumference or intestinal irritability. Ampicillin plus cefotaxime is taken to treat the infection. By having the anthropometric measurements of the patient, I value him since he has a low weight, being hospitalized and making the correct assessment, he met the necessary requirements of the newborn. Upon discharge, the patient is followed up by external controls with the neonatologist and ingesting medications. Remember that neonatal sepsis is a bacterial infection, the risk of NS and morbidity are inversely related to gestational age and birth weight. The cause is the deficit of macro and micronutrients which lead the child to have low weight both in pregnancy and at birth, due to this they are exposed to consequences such as anemia, hypothermia, etc.es_ES

No presento movimientos anormales.
