dc.descriptionThis document is a case study, which focuses on artificial intelligence and its benefits in terms of facial recognition and other algorithms for biometric identification of a person's face, aimed at improving citizen security. For this, it also ventured into investigating in some way, such as the possible scenario of including these artificial intelligence systems, with facial recognition, to integrate it into the ECU911 security service and try to make the technology have more scope in relation to the analysis of faces. This case study was oriented under the research sub-line of the systems engineering career, since the research line is the following: "Communication and business and technological undertakings, development of information systems and the sub-line is data processes and telecommunications ”. Likewise, needing to reinforce many topics in this case study, it was necessary to invite to participate recognized technical engineers in systems of the city, who provided their knowledge so that this final degree project has the due computer technical guarantees referenced by experts in the field; It should be noted that this was also deeply analyzed by the author, who also guided and enriched the research with referenced theories, which have also made it possible to consolidate the present case study, with the participation of bibliographic citations from authors worldwide. In this document, annexes are also included, where the various evidences of participation in the interviews are detailed.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste documento es un caso de estudio, que se orienta a la inteligencia artificial y sus beneficios en cuanto al reconocimiento facial y demás algoritmos de identificación biométrica del rostro de una persona, orientados a mejorar la seguridad ciudadana. Para esto se incursiono además en investigar de alguna forma, como sería el escenario posible de incluir estos sistemas de inteligencia artificial, con el reconocimiento facial, para integrarlo al servicio de seguridad del ECU911 y tratar de que la tecnología tenga más alcance en relación al análisis de rostros. Este caso de estudio se orientó amparado en la sublínea de investigación de la carrera de ingeniería en sistemas, pues la línea de investigación es la siguiente: “Comunicación y emprendimientos empresariales y tecnológicos, desarrollo de Sistemas de la información y la sublínea es procesos de datos y telecomunicaciones”. Así mismo, necesitando reforzar muchos temas en este caso de estudio, hubo la necesidad de invitar a participar a reconocidos técnicos ingenieros en sistemas de la ciudad, que brindaron sus conocimientos para que este trabajo de fin de carrera, cuente con las debidas garantías técnicas informáticas referenciadas por expertos en la materia; cabe indicar que esto fue además analizado de manera profunda por el autor, que además orientó y enriqueció la investigación con teorías referenciadas, que han permitido además consolidar el caso de estudio presente, con la participación de citas bibliográficas de autores a nivel mundial. En este documento, además se incluyen anexos, donde se detallan las varias evidencias de la participación en las entrevistas.es_ES
