dc.description | The Abras de Mantequilla wetland has a great potential for flora and fauna, in which rural tourism activities can be developed, such as hiking, bird watching, canoe rides, which is interesting for tourists who seek to relax in a environment different from the noise and pollution of the city. Through the implementation of tourism management strategies, what is sought is the innovation of new activities to attract more tourists to the wetland, since the wetland consists of 22,500 hectares which must be used for tourism for the benefit of the community. dc.description.abstract | El humedal Abras de Mantequilla tiene un gran potencial de flora y fauna, en el cual se pueden desarrollar actividades de turismo rural, tales como el senderismo, avistamiento de aves, paseos en canoa, lo que resulta interesante para el turista que busca distraerse en un ambiente diferente al ruido y contaminación de la ciudad. A través de la implementación de estrategias de gestión turística, lo que se busca es la innovación de nuevas actividades para atraer más turistas al humedal, ya que el humedal consta de 22.500 hectáreas las cuales deben ser aprovechadas turísticamente para el beneficio de la comunidad.
