dc.description.abstractEn el presente estudio de caso se enfocó en el tema autorregulación emocional y su influencia en el bienestar psicológico en pacientes portadora de virus de inmune deficiencia humana residente del cantón Quevedo provincia de los Ríos el cual se dio en base a el uso de pruebas psicométricas que facilitaron información necesaria para la elaboración de este caso. Así mismo la regulación emocional es parte de la vida de los seres humanos ya que nos ayuda a favorecer el autocontrol emocional y que este no nos moleste en la vida diaria o en el bienestar integral de la persona, es por eso que al tener una reacción a un estímulo estresor como el saber que padeces de VIH podrías alterar la regulación emocional desencadenando en trastornos de estado del ánimo, por lo que esta investigación se trata de eso de ver de qué manera afecto este estimulo en la vida de la paciente seleccionada. Dentro de esta investigación se utilizó una metodología de investigación cualitativa para el análisis y descripción del problema así mismo acompañados de instrumentos y técnicas de aplicación psicológicas y diagnostico como la ficha de observación psicológica, la entrevista psicología, la historia clínica y la aplicación de test psicométricos. Por lo cual se pudo dar un Psicodiagnóstico presuntivo como CIE F33.1 Trastorno De Depresión Mayor ya que al tener la enfermedad de VIH y someterse a un tratamiento afecto a su estilo de vida repercutiendo en la área social y familiar, por lo que se consideró la terapia cognitivo conductual mediante la cual se logró regular las emociones de la paciente.es_ES
