dc.description | Merchandising strategies are techniques that are applied to all types of businesses regardless of their size or activity. The fundamental thing is to be committed to what will be done to solve the different problems that may arise due to the lack of a good sales strategy and to achieve customer loyalty within the company. Therefore, the objective of this case study is the merchandising strategies in the METALVAN hardware store in the Vinces canton. With the development of the theoretical, methodological foundations that exist on the strategies of merchandising, marketing, market positioning, sales, profitability and through the application of qualitative research, documentary techniques, experimental with the instruments of the survey directed to the clients. And the interview with the manager of the hardware store, it will be possible to make a better interpretation of the situation. In the conclusions, it is stated that for the development and application of merchandising strategies, it must be committed to each process that must be fulfilled in order to achieve the established objectives, in such a way that the needs of consumers can be met since they are the essential part of any company. In addition, it will be possible to maintain a competitive advantage within the market, which will allow the company to have a good profitability and at the same time that the collaborators feel safe and motivated given that they will have job stability. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | Las estrategias de merchandising son técnicas que se aplican a todo tipo de negocio independientemente de su tamaño o actividad. Lo fundamental es tener compromiso sobre lo que se hará para darle solución a los diferentes problemas que se puedan dar por la falta de una buena estrategias de ventas y lograr la fidelización de clientes dentro de la empresa. Por lo cual el objetivo de este estudio de casos es de diagnosticar las estrategias de merchandising en la ferretería METALVAN del cantón Vinces. Con el desarrollo de los fundamentos teóricos, metodológicos que existen sobre las estrategias de merchandising, mercadeo, posicionamiento en el mercado, ventas, rentabilidad y mediante la aplicación de la investigación cualitativa, técnicas documentales, experimentales con los instrumentos de la encuesta dirigida a los clientes y la entrevista al gerente de la ferretería se podrá realizar una mejor interpretación sobre la situación. En las conclusiones se manifiesta que para el desarrollo y aplicación de las estrategias de merchandising se debe ser comprometido con cada proceso que se debe cumplir para poder alcanzar los objetivos establecidos, de tal manera que se pueda satisfacer las necesidades de los consumidores dado que son la parte fundamental de toda empresa. Además se podrá mantener una ventaja competitiva dentro del mercado lo cual va a permitir que la empresa tenga una buena rentabilidad y al mismo tiempo que los colaboradores se sientas seguros y motivados en vista que tendrán una estabilidad laboral. | es_ES |
