It is considered one of the most common gastrointestinal pathologies that requires hospitalization worldwide. Its most usual etiology is due to alcohol and cholelithiasis. (Guidi, and others, 2019). The present clinical case is of a 27-year-old patient admitted to the hospital ward with DX of acute pancreatitis where she has remained in NPO for 5 days. We sought to carry out a process of nutritional care, using the anthropometric, clinical, dietary and biochemical method, as an essential key to know and achieve an adequate nutritional intervention, in order to improve the patient's oral tolerance, nutritional status and signs and symptoms. presenting symptoms; thus, improving the quality of life of the patient.
