The uterus is described as a muscular organ with a hollow characteristic, its anatomical place in the body is in the pelvic area, specifically between the bladder and the rectum. Site of many clinical conditions that affect its integrity, including benign and malignant. The uterine leiomyoma or also called uterine myoma is a benign formation within the classification of tumors, it affects women of reproductive age more frequently, almost 50%, it is also probable in other stages of life, race is a predisposing factor in its appearance. The probability that this type of tumor is malignant is 10%. The following clinical case deals with a 40-year-old patient who presented a clinical picture of moderate vaginal bleeding, colicky pain in the hypogastrium for 1 year, which is why her hospitalization was decided. Appropriate assessment procedures are performed, including blood tests and transvaginal ultrasound. These procedures allow confirmation of the presumptive diagnosis, which is why the corresponding surgical procedure is required to recover the patient's condition, a myomectomy. Analyzing this type of condition allows us to identify that this disease is a real and risky problem both in women of childbearing age and in women over 35 years of age, it involves a risk to their quality of life, both physical and emotional. The Nursing Care Process becomes a key tool to achieve the improvement of this patient, a means that guarantees the actions of the nursing staff in this type of situation.es_ES
