This degree work exposes the problem about virtual learning environments and their impact on academic performance in first semester students in the initial education career, in which we continued to follow a methodological process that helps to analyze the influence of virtual learning environments (VLE) on student performance, In order to achieve the objective, a descriptive study was proposed, supported by the precision of a quantitative design, which allows through the use of a questionnaire to determine the stated objective, where the selected sample corresponds to 86 students who were given a digital questionnaire composed of 8 key questions, which allowed to reach the conclusion that there is knowledge on the part of teachers in the management of this type of digital applications, however, one of the problems encountered is that some respondents do not consider that through the use of this tool is reaching the desired goal of knowledge, obtaining a critical point to be solved, This is due to the fact that at one point of the survey 25% were not convinced on the issue raised, so the recommendation found is that extra training should be considered to improve the total inclusion of technology to students, so that they understand the importance of technology today, thus lowering the atmosphere of distrust that is manifested in some of the students surveyed and will reach a university fullness.es_ES
