The purpose of this research work is to inform about fine and gross motor skills so that the children of the initial level have an optimal integral development of all their actions, because motor skills are fundamental for the acquisition of skills, therefore, this allows the child to perform complex movements, to have a good body control and the use of skills with the hands. This type of research included a descriptive study of an explanatory and quantitative type, making use of surveys obtained from a small sample of parents of the initial sub-level 1 "B". Fine motor skills include light movements that the child manages to make such as inserting objects, painting, coloring, and also helps language, since speaking is another of the fine motor skills movements. Gross motor skills is the mastery of the body and its movements are a little more sustainable, for example, walking, running, jumping are actions that make the child have control and stability of his body. The purpose of this research is to demonstrate that the development of fine and gross motor skills are closely linked to the enrichment of children's learning in the academic environment. Therefore, the development of fine and gross motor skills becomes essential from the early education stages, working with the teacher at this level and increasing physical activity in the lives of children facilitates better learning while respecting each learning pace, therefore, fine and gross motor skills are very important for the development of a child's life.es_ES
