dc.description | Patient satisfaction is a subjective evaluation of the nursing professional's care, which has a great impact on users of health services. Objective: Determine nursing care and its impact on the level of patient satisfaction in the emergency area, University Hospital of Guayaquil, period January-April 2024. Methodology: Descriptive, transversal, prospective, non-experimental and quantitative. The survey technique and two questionnaires with high reliability and expert validation, used in other research. Results: It was obtained that nursing care was perceived by the patient as regular (51.5%), in its dimensions, tangible elements regular (44.6%), regular reliability (67.7%), regular responsiveness (53.1%), fair security (47.7%) and fair empathy (44.6%); with average satisfaction (50.0%); and the influence of nursing care on patient satisfaction was proven (Rho=0.91; p value=0.000). Conclusion: There is an impact of nursing care on the satisfaction of the patient treated in the emergency area of the Hospital. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La satisfacción del paciente es una evaluación subjetiva sobre la atención del profesional de enfermería, que ejerce gran impacto en los usuarios de los servicios de salud. Objetivo: Determinar la atención de enfermería y su impacto en el nivel de satisfacción del paciente del área de emergencia, Hospital Universitario de Guayaquil, periodo enero-abril 2024. Metodología: Descriptiva, transversal, prospectiva, no experimental y cuantitativa. La técnica de la encuesta y dos cuestionarios con alta confiabilidad y validación de expertos, empleados en otras investigaciones. Resultados: Se obtuvo que la atención de enfermería fue percibida por el paciente como regular (51,5%), en sus dimensiones, elementos tangibles regular (44,6%), fiabilidad regular (67,7%), capacidad de respuesta regular (53,1%), seguridad regular (47,7%) y empatía regular (44,6%); con una satisfacción media (50,0%); y se comprobó influencia de atención de enfermería en la satisfacción del paciente (Rho=0,91; valor p=0,000). Conclusión: Existe impacto de la atención de enfermería en la satisfacción del paciente atendido en el área de emergencia del Hospital. | es_ES |
