It is important to state that worldwide there have constantly been cases of conjoined twins or conjoined twins who are connected through parts of their body. (Gómez-Cadena et al., 2019). Therefore, it is important to take into consideration that this is an alteration that occurs in twin pregnancies, when there has been early separation of the embryo so that they remain united with each other. Based on them, it is important to state that the assessment by the nursing staff is a fundamental piece for care according to the patient's needs. As is usually the case with continuous monitoring of vital signs, especially in this type of neonates, to identify anomalies in the respiratory pattern and in turn help with their ventilation. It is important to state that this case study is very relevant since the nursing care process could be provided to male conjoined neonates of 36 weeks of gestation contained by birth. Because they had respiratory difficulty, invasive mechanical ventilation had to be performed. Presenting generalized paleness and cyanosis. Therefore, through the assessment, nursing interventions could be obtained and applied actions to provide the necessary care to the patient.es_ES
