| dc.description | The purpose of this case study is to analyze hybrid software development methodologies, specifically SCRUM and UML, to créate a web system that improves the management of the OLIMPOS GYM in Ventanas Canton. It demonstrates how combining these methodologies can enchance the gym’s operational efficiency by optimizing the management of users, classes, memberships, and payments. The results show that the combination of SCRUM and UML provides agile and detailed development, ensuring continuous delivery and clear project planning. The key advantage of adopting a hybrid approach is that it not only improves the software quality but also enchances customer satisdaction and the gym’s efficiency. During the project development, the hybrid metodologies, specifically SCRUM y UML, were adhered to, focusing on the gym’s specific needs. This emphasizes the importance of iterative planning and the use of category diagrams for better system visualization. | dc.description.abstract | El propósito de este caso de estudio es analizar las metodologías híbridas de desarrollo de software en particular SCRUM y UML, para crear un sistema web para mejorar la gestión del Gimnasio OLIMPOS en el Cantón Ventanas. Al demostrar cómo la combinación de estas metodologías puede mejorar la eficiencia operativa del gimnasio al optimizar la administración de usuarios, clases, membresías y pagos. Los resultados enseñan que la combinación de SCRUM y UML proporciona un desarrollo ágil y detallado, confirmando la entrega continua y la planificación clara del proyecto. Lo excelente de todo es que al momento de adoptar un enfoque híbrido no solo mejora la calidad del software, sino también mejora la satisfacción del cliente y la eficiencia del gimnasio. Durante el desarrollo del proyecto se ajustaron a las metodologías híbridas, específicamente SCRUM y UML por lo que se centra específicamente a las necesidades del gimnasio, enfatizando la importancia de la planificación iterativa y el uso de diagramas de categorías para tener mejor visualización del sistema. Para otros proyectos se considerará aplicar métodos híbridos porque brindan flexibilidad y precisión en el desarrollo de software. | es_ES |
