dc.description	A physical disability due to an amputation is a social and emotional impact for the patient who suffers it and their relatives, reflecting feelings of sadness, frustration, worry, fear, negativity, and low self-esteem, they feel they are discriminated against and therefore to have feelings of inferiority reaching high levels of anxiety. Different techniques were used for data collection and patient history, which were structured in six sessions, including the assessment of the different psychometric tests to establish the level of anxiety and rule out any depressive symptoms and end with a structural diagnosis based on the criteria of the DSM-5 The objective of this research was to develop a therapeutic scheme with a cognitive-behavioral approach where goals and techniques are exposed to reduce the symptomatology of anxiety in the patient. It is necessary to highlight the importance of individual psychological accompaniment in hospital centers contributing to the comprehensive rehabilitation of patients who face this situation and work together with the doctor an psychologist using different therapeutic approaches. Finally, it is recommended that the collaboration of practitioners from the clinical psychology area be continued in the hospital centers of the country, mainly at the General Hospital Babahoyo IESS, thus contributing to the integral rehabilitation of patients using cognitive-behavioral therapies, Rational emotive therapy, motivational therapies that help the patient improve, and reduce symptoms from the beginning, preventing the patient from reaching serious consequences for not being treated properly	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Una discapacidad física debido a una amputación es un impacto social y emocional para el paciente que lo padece y sus familiares reflejando así sentimientos de tristeza, frustración, preocupación, miedo, negatividad, y auto estima baja, llegan a sentir que son discriminados y por ende a tener sentimientos de inferioridad llegando a altos niveles de ansiedad. Se empleó diferentes técnicas para la recolección de datos y antecedentes del paciente las cuales fueron estructuradas en seis sesiones incluyendo la valoración de los distintos test psicométricos para establecer el nivel de ansiedad y descartar algún síntoma depresivo y finalizar con un diagnostico estructural basado según los criterios del DSM-5. El objetivo de esta investigación fue desarrollar un esquema terapéutico con un enfoque cognitivo-conductual donde se exponen metas y técnicas para reducir la sintomatología de ansiedad en el paciente. Es necesario resaltar la importancia del acompañamiento psicológico individual en los centros hospitalarios contribuyendo en la rehabilitación integral de los pacientes que se encuentran ante esta situación y trabajar en conjunto con el médico y psicólogo empleando diferentes enfoques terapéuticos. Para finalizar se recomienda que se continúe con la colaboración de practicantes del área de psicología clínica en los centros hospitalarios del país, principalmente en el Hospital General Babahoyo IESS, de esta manera lograr contribuir con la rehabilitación integral de los pacientes empleando terapias cognitivas-conductuales, terapia racional emotiva, terapias motivacionales que ayuden al paciente a mejorar, y disminuir los síntomas desde sus inicios evitando que el paciente llegue a graves consecuencias por no ser tratado debidamente	es_ES
