dc.descriptionThe present case study is to determine the influence of the self-concept in coping with the status of a person deprived of liberty of the Babahoyo in the Deprivation of Liberty Center. Self-concept as such is the self-perception that each person has of himself, that is, it is the construction of an ideal Self that the human being realizes, based on values and principles that respond to the need for realization as a person. Therefore, the ppl's self-concept plays a fundamental role in dealing with adverse situations that arise in the day-to-day journey. For the collection of patient data, techniques such as semi-structured interviews were used and as a tool the clinical history, observation and application of psychometric tests, specifically to evaluate HTP and as a complement a Self-concept questionnaire, which allowed for an adequate psychological assessment and thus determine the influence between both variables.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso tiene como finalidad determinar la influencia del autoconcepto en el afrontamiento de su condición de persona privada de libertad del Centro de Privación de Libertad del Cantón Babahoyo. El autoconcepto como tal es la autopercepción que tiene cada persona de sí misma, es decir, es la construcción de un Yo ideal que realiza el ser humano, basado en valores y principios que responden a la necesidad de la realización como persona. Por lo tanto, el autoconcepto de la ppl juega un rol fundamental para enfrentar las situaciones adversas que se presenten en el trayecto del día a día. Para la recopilación de datos del paciente se utilizaron técnicas como la entrevista semiestructurada y como herramienta la historia clínica, observación y aplicación de test psicométricos, específicamente para evaluar el HTP y como complemento un cuestionario de Autoconcepto, los cuales permitieron realizar una adecuada valoración psicológica y así determinar la influencia entre ambas variables.es_ES
