dc.description | The line of research of the career is: prevention and diagnosis and the sub-line of research: behavioral disorders and their impact on the teaching-learning process, in the present case study it was carried out with the problem: aggressiveness and its incidence in academic performance in a child of the Jorge Icaza Delgado School of Basic Education of the Babahoyo canton, Los Ríos province. The aggression and violence observed among the students of this institution generates negative incidents, such as learning difficulties, thus affecting the student's academic performance. Through this research a scientific support was given to the study, in order to provide clear information on the problem addressed in which the semi-structured interview technique was used whose psychological evaluation instrument was the clinical history, psychological tests: HTP (House -Tree-Person): author. dc.description.abstract | La línea de investigación de la carrera es: prevención y diagnóstico y la sub-línea de investigación: los trastornos del comportamiento y su repercusión dentro del proceso enseñanza- aprendizaje, en el presente estudio de caso se realizó con el problema: agresividad y su incidencia en el rendimiento académico en un niño de la Escuela de Educación Básica Jorge Icaza Delgado del cantón Babahoyo, provincia Los Ríos. La agresión y violencia observada entre los estudiantes de esta institución genera incidentes negativos, tales como dificultad en el aprendizaje, repercutiendo de esta manera en el rendimiento académico del estudiante. Mediante esta investigación se dio un sustento científico al estudio, con la finalidad de brindar una información clara sobre la problemática abordada en la cual se utilizó la técnica de la entrevista semiestructurada cuyo instrumento de evaluación psicológica fue la historia clínica, pruebas psicológicas: H.T.P (House-Tree-Person): autor.
