dc.description | Laryngotracheobronchitis (LT) or croup is a viral infection that affects the larynx and can spread within the trachea and bronchi. Being a common cause of pediatric emergencies. It is of a seasonal nature, mainly of cold climates and of viral etiology in certain occasions by bacteria. Its clinical characteristic is hoarseness, barking cough, inspiratory stridor, respiratory distress. Its incidence is higher in children between 3 month and 5 years. The resolution of symptoms occurs over a period of 48 hours or more with almost complete recovery. The present case study has the general objective of providing a comprehensive nursing care plan with responsibility and human quality in a 6-month-old male patient with acute laryngotracheobronchitis (Croup) through the application of ECP through of the NANDA, NIC and NOC taxonomies. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La laringotraqueobronquitis (LT) o crup es una infección viral que afecta la laringe y se puede extender dentro de la tráquea y los bronquios. Siendo causa común de emergencias pediátricas. Es de carácter estacional, principalmente de climas fríos y de etiología viral en ciertas ocasiones por bacterias. Su característica clínica es ronquera tos perruna estridor inspiratorio, dificultad respiratoria. Su incidencia es mayor en niños entres 3 meses hasta 5 años. La resolución de los síntomas se da un periodo de 48 horas o más con una recuperación casi completa. El presente estudio de caso tiene como objetivo general brindar un plan de cuidados de enfermería de una manera integral con responsabilidad y calidad humana en un paciente de sexo masculino de 6 meses de edad con laringotraqueobronquitis aguda (Crup), mediante la aplicación del PAE a través de las taxonomías NANDA, NIC Y NOC. | es_ES |
