dc.description | Diabetes is a disease with a high prevalence rate in our environment of 2 to 3%, one of the main causes related to diabetes is diabetic foot. In some cases, the disease ends with amputation. Diabetic is as infection or gangrene of 5.1% and 20% of them will become cases of lower limb ulcers, more than 50% of non-traumatic amputations correspond to diabetic patients, the time sequence of the appearance of these lesions are as follows: poor metabolic control; neuropathy or vascular disease; external or internal trauma; pre-ulcer injuries; infections; necrosis and death. The diagnosis will be made through clinics and tests, ankle or arm index and Doppler examination. In treatment, it is very useful to carry out a series of rules of education and daily care for patients. Finally, depending on the severity of the infection and the degree of recurrence, different antibiotics can be used to treat the infection (Blanca F. , 2017). The following clinical case about a 60-year-old patient to whom the nursing care process is applied in order to carry out appropriate nursing interventions according to his needs, based on scientific and practical criteria that contribute to the rehabilitation of their state of health and therefore reincorporation into society | es_ES |

| es_ES |
