dc.descriptionThe present clinical case is about a 17-year-old patient with Diabetes mellitus II and alterations in eating habits, she comes to the consultation due to fatigue and muscle pain with one week of evolution, personal pathological history: Diabetes Mellitus II for 1 year , and family pathological history: mother with Diabetes Mellitus II; Nutrition is consulted for weight control and diet management according to the pathology that presents. In this clinical case, the nutritional treatment of the patient will be carried out using anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary indicators, where an eating plan will be implemented according to the patient's dietary needs. In addition, nutritional advice will be given to raise awareness of the change in your eating habits so that you can achieve an optimal state of health. A follow-up and monitoring plan is carried out for the patient in 4 weeks in which we were able to observe favorable results, incorporating good eating habits, improving her physical condition and giving her a change in her lifestyle.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente caso clínico trata de una paciente de 17 años de edad con Diabetes mellitus II y alteraciones en los hábitos alimentarios, acude a consulta por presentar cansancio y dolor muscular con una semana de evolución, antecedentes patológicos personales: Diabetes Mellitus II desde hace 1 año, y antecedentes patológicos familiares: mamá con Diabetes Mellitus II; se interconsulta a nutrición para control de peso y manejo de dieta según la patología que presenta. En este caso clínico se realizara el tratamiento nutricional al paciente mediante los indicadores antropométricos, bioquímicos, clínicos y dietéticos, donde se implementara un plan alimentario de acuerdo a las necesidades dietéticas de la paciente. Además se darán consejos nutricionales para concientizar el cambio de sus hábitos alimentarios para que esta manera pueda conseguir un estado de salud óptimo. Se realiza un plan de seguimiento y monitoreo a la paciente en 4 semanas en el que pudimos observar resultados favorables, incorporando buenos hábitos alimentarios, mejorando su condición física y dándole un cambio a su estilo de vida.es_ES
