dc.descriptionThe present case study aims to explain the influence of confinement due to covid-19 in an older adult with depressive disorder, in order to improve her quality of life, it is necessary to mention that the analysis of the clinical history of the older adult, As well as the respective observations in each session, it was possible to detect a problem of mild depression, through the use of the Hamilton anxiety test and the Beck depression inventory, both instruments and the symptoms helped to determine the respective diagnosis. Once the situation had been analyzed and the results were verified, Cognitive Behavioral psychological attention was provided to help the older adult to improve her mood. Thus achieving to demonstrate that the therapeutic process allows solutions to different mental health problems, making use of techniques such as Jacobson's relaxation.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso tiene como objetivo explicar la influencia del confinamiento por covid-19 en una adulta mayor con trastorno depresivo, con la finalidad de mejorar su calidad de vida, es necesario mencionar que el análisis de la historia clínica de la adulta mayor, así como las observaciones respectivas en cada sesión permitieron detectar un problema de depresión leve, mediante la utilización del test de ansiedad de Hamilton y el inventario de depresión de Beck ambos instrumentos y la sintomatología ayudaron a determinar el diagnostico respectivo. Una vez analizada la situación y verificando los resultados se brindó atención psicológica de corte Cognitivo Conductual, que ayuden a la adulta mayor a mejorar su estado anímico. Logrando así demostrar que el proceso terapéutico permite dar soluciones a los diferentes problemas de salud mental, haciendo uso de técnicas como la de relajación de Jacobson.es_ES
