dc.description | The Babahoyo Educational Unit is an institution whose mission is to train young people through the promotion of knowledge, values and principles, with the purpose that they can be inserted into society in the best possible way. For the optimal development of the educational offer, an adequate administrative management is necessary, with a qualified human talent. For this reason, the objective of the study is to determine the administrative processes of the Babahoyo Educational Unit, in order to know the weaknesses of the administrative staff in the fulfillment of internal functions. The methodology is of a descriptive type accompanied by the inductive method, where the particular facts are described, to then generate final conclusions regarding the subject studied. The technique of the interview directed to the Director and a survey of the administrative and teaching staff was used to gather information. The results detected reflect that the educators have a weak work profile, there is no planning of the student's degree process, inadequate control of the institution's assets, the internal processes are delayed due to the weak document management and the teaching staff exists resistance to the use of technologies. In conclusion, the Babahoyo Educational Unit does not carry out an adequate administration, because the administrative functions applied do not favor the development of the internal activities of the entity; that is to say, the phases of planning, organization, direction and control; they lack efficiency due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La Unidad Educativa Babahoyo es una institución que posee como misión la formación de jóvenes a través de la promoción de conocimientos, valores y principios, con el propósito de que puedan insertarse en la sociedad de la mejor manera posible. Para el desarrollo óptimo de la oferta educativa es necesaria de una adecuada gestión administrativa, con un talento humano cualificado. Por tal razón, el objetivo del estudio es determinar los procesos administrativos de la Unidad Educativa Babahoyo, con la finalidad de conocer las debilidades del personal administrativo en el cumplimiento de las funciones internas. La metodología es de tipo descriptivo acompañada del método inductivo, donde se describe los hechos particulares, para luego generar conclusiones finales respecto al tema estudiado. Se utilizó la técnica de la entrevista dirigida a la Directora y una encuesta al personal administrativo y docente para recabar información. Los resultados detectados reflejan que los educadores cuentan con un débil perfil laboral, no existe una planificación del proceso de titulación de los estudiantes, inadecuado control de bienes de la institución, los procesos internos se retrasan por la endeble gestión documental y en el personal docente existe resistencia al uso de tecnologías. En conclusión, la Unidad Educativa Babahoyo no realiza una adecuada administración, debido a que las funciones administrativas aplicadas no favorecen el desarrollo de las actividades internas de la entidad; es decir, las fases de planeación, organización, dirección y control; carecen de eficiencia por efectos de la pandemia Covid-19. | es_ES |
